Pavement Repairs Posted or Updated on 19 Nov 2025

You may have noticed that several pathways surrounding Mountwood Surgery are cracked and in very poor repair.  Some are missing edging, others are cracking and damaged, and some drain cover areas are pitted, all of which create potential trip hazards. We requested that these pathways be repaired and levelled where possible last year.

Although there has been no direct communication from the contractor, it seems that this work will commence on Monday 24^th November (depending on the weather). This will mean that there may be cones, barriers, resurfacing, lights, machinery, while they repair and level the new paving.

It may also be necessary for the contractor to occupy some of the car parking spaces immediately in front of the practice for their vehicles and heavy equipment. This activity could take two or three days to complete. 

Please be aware of this and take care if you come to the surgery.  If you need to find alternative parking there is a larger pay-and-display car park 50 metres further past our car park, on the left-hand side.
