Our Nurses can provide travel health advice and arrange for appropriate immunisations. Please complete the Travel Risk Assessment Form and return the travel form to our Reception for the nurse to review.
Following the review; the patient traveller will be contacted to arrange an appointment for a travel consultation. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.
Some travel vaccines are private and not on the NHS and these incur a charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS. We only offer the free travel vaccinations that are necessary on the NHS:
- polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab)
- typhoid
- hepatitis A
- cholera
Please note that travel clinics will occur on specific days in the week; patients should be aware of the need for flexibility to attend such clinics.

We offer a limited travel advice service. If you are travelling abroad please complete and submit the travel form in plenty of time (we recommend 6 to 8 weeks) before your journey. If the form is not submitted before the 6 week deadline patients will have to seek alternative vaccination arrangements.
