Waiting too long to get an appointment?
Delays in seeing a GP are made worse by appointments being wasted by non attenders. Approx 13 million appointments are missed by Did Not Attend patients each year across the NHS.
For the benefit of all if you cannot attend, or your symptoms have eased, please cancel your appointment with the surgery at least 24 hours in advance so it can be given to a patient in need.
Repeat non attenders may be removed from the surgery list.
